Arm-tension burstsJitter Click Test
Jitter clicking tenses the forearm so the hand vibrates over the button. It is fast but tiring, which is why short rounds are the norm.

How this one works
- i.
Short and sharp
Three to five seconds is plenty. Past that, most people lose rhythm and the tally shows it.
- ii.
Keep aim steady
The vibration tends to drift the cursor. Missing the dial loses clicks, so it doubles as an aim check.
- iii.
Rest your wrist
If the arm aches, stop. Jitter clicking is not something to grind through.

- Jitter or butterfly — which is faster?
- Butterfly usually peaks higher, while jitter is easier to learn on any mouse. Test both and compare.
- Why does my cursor drift?
- Tension moves the whole hand. Resting your palm lightly on the mouse reduces the drift.
