Clean double clicks

How this one works

  1. i.

    Think in pairs

Click-click, pause, click-click. A tidy rhythm beats frantic tapping because loose singles never score.

  2. ii.

    300 ms window

That is roughly the default double-click speed on Windows and macOS, so the test matches what your system expects.

  3. iii.

    Spot a faulty switch

If single clicks keep registering as pairs outside a round, your mouse switch may be chattering.

Questions

Why is my DPS lower than my CPS?
Each pair needs two clicks, so DPS is roughly half of your CPS. The animal ranks are scaled to account for that.
Can this detect double-click problems?
It can help. Click slowly and deliberately; if pairs appear when you only clicked once, the switch is worth checking.
